This thread is in celebration of the electrification of my home studio. This ain't no Rural Utilities Service. This is the Holy Private Sector, where the efficiency of capital has seen to drag its ass out for months in the form of my half-retarded electrical contractor. The plumber was was splendid, was here whenever he said he would be, did a good job, etc. Electricians are a different breed, however. Somewhere between hustler and mentally challenged.

My long local nightmare is over. Good luck to Neffer on her project. Keep an eye on them Hellectricians!

Formative years. They're mostly all gone now. There'll be no Sinatra, no Neil Young, no David Bowie, not for us. Not for my poor generation. Selfish bastards deprived us mainly of the opportunity to grow old with at least a few of our heroes. Oh poor generation. Oh wallow. The kids these days, they've got a President, and they've got a few cultural icons who might survive to enjoy life with them.

Is that too much to ask?
