time to impeach

I sincerely and strongly believe that if the American experiment on the world stage is to be a success, the rule of law must be followed. Clinton had to bow to this rule, and all he did lie about having sex. The people populating the Bush regime, including Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, have lied about issues that have literally led to tens of thousands of deaths, a weakening of our military, and lowering of our respect as a nation around the world, and a misuse and abuse of our soldiers, as well as citizens around the globe. The people look to Congress to act out their will. In the issue of impeachment, this will must be responded to. The nation needs sense once again to reign, and not just fear and tears to rain.

What about those bad voting machines?

Hi Everyone,

I still don't understand the silence on those black box voting machines that may still greatly affect the next election--if Bush allows a next election, that is. Why don't the Dems bring up this issue? To listen to them, it's like the last two elections were not stolen. It seems to me that most of the American public is asleep. I wonder if people in Germany said that about their own public back in 1931.

Be well & happy (despite the implications of this post),

I'd love to see a left-wing CNN-type network on Cable TV

Hi Anon,

Anon Writes: Why did randi lose 30,000 LIBERAL listeners?

Barrie Responds: I don't know. And that is an excellent question. I'd also like to know the actual facts...like what were the actual numbers? Who were the actual listeners that were lost? How do they know who the listeners were? Age of listeners? Political bent?

I wish Randi would talk about it or someone who knows--can do the research for us.

IF what your saying is true (I DON'T mean to imply that you are lying or anything), then I think we should try to find out why.

The life of the nation is connected to Air America or other left/liberal outlets.

Why don't more rich lefties help out? Celebrities, artists, etc. Perhaps with new things it takes time to grow?

I'm sure there are people out there with better questions than I can think of--and also others with great answers to these questions.

I always HOPED for a TV network like an Air America. Like a left-wing CNN or something. IF someone could get the money together from all the rich left-wing-leaning celebrities, artists, businessfolks, etc--maybe that would be possible.

I had hoped Gore would do so with his new channel--but I can't even watch that channel for too many minutes at one time.

Be well & happy,

Welcome back Sam--While Air America Drifts

Sam--good luck with the new show. I've been with Air America in NYC since its inception, and enjoyed you & Janeane delving into issues and squabbling like school kids, and was sorry to see her go--altho you did great on your own--and as a substitute host for others when they went on vacations.

Since Air America began, I have been growing increasingly disappointed with it--starting with the Malloy and Marin firings and accellerating after it switched to WWRL.

Besides the reception now being horrible--I can't pick up the station in certain rooms and times of the day (and I live in Queens), Air America insists on keeping that "other Sam" on the air in the mornings with Armstrong Williams--quite the "progressive" voice.

The other Sam (Greenfield)is, at best, middle of the road; and Army is a die-hard right-winger who literally has lunches with people in the Bush camp. These two guys have bonded and agree with each other much more than they disagree; with Army mostly hijacking the content/direction of the discussions--so most of it sounds just like anything you'd hear on any other station. A discussion about Bush's policy in Iraq and corruption, ineptitude and so on--was just spent on discussing why Bush was correct or not about going into Iraq--with no questioning of his motives, corruption and so forth.

Then Air America hires Lionell. If I wanted to hear him, I'd have already been listening to him on the other channel he was on.
