You can't put a bridal on real Americans. Sam's an American. They don't like it but they will have to deal with it and their stupid choice.

the Editor-in-Chief is a administrative-managerial position. Of course, I, as do others, find you prolific on paper and the mic. Do you think they may consider you more valuable in a management role?

They went with what they thought was a safe decision.
The problem is that the "suits" are fucking morons because the "safe" choice ALWAYS ends up being the wrong choice. Sam's 9-noon ratings were better Springer's and better than Lionell's too. Just because Springer had a successful talk show on TV didn't mean his RADIO show wouldn't suck. Lionell had more experience behind the mike than Sam, but he lives in his own little world and has no connection to world as liberals see it.
Ron Kuby had a show with Curtis Sliwa for years on WABC. But it was a "Hannity & Colmes" type show where Kuby was just the lib whipping boy. On his own he sucks. If you gave Alan Colmes his own show on CNN it would suck too.
Now what AAR is missing...
...is someone like Sam, Mike Malloy, and Randi Rhodes, who fielded questions from half-a-tard conservatives and proved them to be just as stupid as they truly are.
Thom Hartmann fields questions from conservatives but he's just too tame.
I listen to Thom for information on a wide array of topics.
I listen to Rachel for her "burying the lead" segments.
I listen(ed) to Sam for the hilarity and attitude! (and The Clash's cover of Toots and The Maytals' "Pressure Drop")
