I thought I heard something about Johnny Depp putting out a movie about Hunter Thompson.
In "The Kitchen Diaries," they described how Johnny Depp spent $3 million dollars on his funeral & making a massive Gonzo peyote fist that stood higher than the trees in Woody Creek, if I recall. The funeral was a celebrity who's who, including politicians like John Kerry. The book, written by his closest buddies, is a good read, albeit a bit awkwardly written.
